Can You Hear Me? - Wadham Players - Forest Community Centre
It was all a question of communication down at the Forest
Community Centre when Wadham Players asked Can You Hear Me?
The programme consisted of a collection of sketches and
playlets taking a lighthearded look at the often vexed question
of communicating with our fellow creatures, writes Phyl Romeril.
Michael Michael and Elaine Elliott produced and compiled the
show. The comedy was continuous and varied, performed eloquently
by Ron Atkinson, Christine Harvey, Ann Housden, Alisdair Low,
Alison Rhodes, John Snow and Gerri Watts. The sets and costumes
complemented all aspects of the message.
It was a show in which comedy was foremost and despite the
illness of one member, who had to drop out at the last moment,
all went smoothly.
Wadham Players, part of the Forest Community Centre, will
present another play in September.
